Hammer and Saw is an exciting new product developed by the therapists of The Herbistry.
This formula signifies the passion of the Herbistry to combine the wisdom of ancient therapeutics and modern science. The founder of the Herbistry was inspired by her travels along the silk route where she learnt about the different ancient therapeutics and techniques. Salma’s passion for ancient therapeutics drew her attention to the therapeutic techniques of the indigenous Australian Materia Medica, and she began to use Australian natives in clinic and support indigenous businesses in Australia. Hammer and Saw is an ode to the global indigenous communities that have lived on the land and understood its healing properties.
This formula is a combination of Australian natives and global traditional therapeutics that have traditionally been used to sooth muscular and rheumatic aches and complaints.
Kunzea oil is an essential oil harvested from Kunzea ambigua, part of the Myrtaceae family. Kunzea ambigua is wild harvested from North East Tasmania in Australia.
Kunzea oil is new to the market, and has been listed with the Australian Therapeutic goods administration for the “the temporary relief of the pain of arthritis and rheumatism; relief of the symptoms of influenza; relief of muscular aches and pain; and the relief of nervous tension, stress and mild anxiety’. It has a high content of important sesquiterpene compounds that are recognised for its anti-inflammatory properties.
Comfrey has traditionally been used in European herbal therapeutics to ease the discomfort of muscular pain and even bone fractures. Hammer and Saw’s formulation also includes the essential oils of Frankincense and Myrrh scientifically found to be potent anti-inflammatories, and extensively used along the silk route and the middle east for its energetic healing properties.
Massage Hammer & Saw on affected joints and muscles when you feel like your body has been through the tool shed. Can be used daily or as needed.
